123 Exchange St.

EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!

We’ve got some good news for ya!

Friends of the Aberdeen Library and the Town of Aberdeen have been hard at work to bring you a new-ish library.

We are happy to announce that we will be renovating the former Railside Antiques building located at 123 Exchange Street in Historic Downtown Aberdeen.

We could not have asked for a more perfect location. We will be the new neighbors to The Artists League of the Sandhills and Main Street Park.

And within walking distance of some of our favorite local businesses.

We’d love to create a 21st Century Library in a building that holds a piece of Aberdeen history for the last 100 years.

But wait! There’s more!

We have BIG plans for the empty lot across the way.

Picture this…open air seating, a beautiful gazebo to enjoy a good read outside whilst listening to the birds singing and the children at play.

But we can’t do this without your support. If you’d like to take part in bringing this vision to life, contact us.

We need you and we’d love to create this space WITH you and FOR you, our amazing community.

So let’s do this!
